Ren Hua joins AVP as a venture advisor in 2025 and is excited to help partner and support the next generation of founders and technology leaders from India and the broader APAC region. His passion is operating at the intersection of strategy, technology and finance, helping teams and companies scale through M&A and global business development. He has over 10 years of technology and private equity investing experience, having invested and supported some of the best world-class funds such as Transition VC out of Europe, CRE Capital out of Africa and Radian Capital out of North America which have been proven venture category leaders in their respective geographies and domains.
Ren Hua graduated from The Wharton School with Honors and started his career in consulting with Bain & Company New York. Currently he is Group CEO of Thai Wah Public Company, a leading regional agri food company operating across China, Thailand, India, Vietnam and Philippines. From 2022-24, Thai Wah was awarded HR Asia’s Best Company to work for, recognizing its commitment to innovation, sustainability and operational excellence. The company has executed 4 M&A in the last 6 years and recently closed a major partnership with Fuji Nihon, Japan’s leading B2B Food Solutions Company.
Ren Hua is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and spends his time between Bangkok and Singapore.
