Surabhi Mohan

Surabhi joined Avataar Venture Partners in July 2026 as part of the firm's fundraising and investor relations practice. She brings several years of experience raising capital from a diverse base of limited partners, including pension funds, development finance institutions, and other institutional investors.

Prior to Avataar, Surabhi  supported fundraising efforts at the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, India's sovereign wealth fund, and at Elevar Equity, an early-stage impact fund. She began her career at Goldman Sachs.

Surabhi holds an MPA from Columbia University, an MSc in Economics from Singapore Management University, and a Bachelor's in Business from Christ University.

Outside of work, you'll find her reading periodicals, listening to podcasts, or spending time in nature: birdwatching, observing wildlife, hiking, or diving.
